Barriere Construction is seeking a Heavy Civil Foreman to lead field operations on major infrastructure projects in Louisiana. You will coordinate crews, equipment, subcontractors, and material needs to deliver quality work safely and on schedule.

The role requires 3–5 years in heavy civil construction and 1–2 years in supervisory roles, with the ability to read plans and maintain compliance with safety regulations. Local travel and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in heavy civil construction.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role (foreman/lead).
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and grades.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Manage asphalt paving projects, personnel, equipment, and problem-solving to meet project goals.
• Coordinate production schedules and track labor, equipment, and costs.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct TAR meetings with crews.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material needs.
• Mentor and train new employees.
