Job summary

Exelon is seeking a facilities/design engineer to develop drawings, BOMs, and layouts for utility infrastructure projects across generation, transmission, and distribution networks. You will coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical analysis, CAD proficiency, and the ability to work extended hours during storms or emergencies, with a focus on delivering accurate designs and efficient project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• TECH test completion or exemption for engineering graduates.
• Ability to analyze electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations, or engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develops designs, layouts, construction drawings, and a bill of material for complex utility infrastructure projects.
• Interprets and applies engineering standards and memos.
• Supports customer and company systems with technical consultation and plan development.
• Evaluates design processes and participates in project teams.
