Job summary

CleanSpark seeks a Manager of Utility & Energy to own utility relationships and energy pathways across the portfolio. You will lead investor-owned utilities, co-ops, and municipal utilities, driving interconnection processes and energy service agreements while coordinating with Legal and Site Selection teams.

The role requires deep utility fluency, strong negotiation skills, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment, with travel across the United States as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Economics, Business or related field.
• 6–10+ years in utility relations, energy procurement, interconnection, or power markets.
• Direct experience leading large-load applications and negotiating utility service or interconnection agreements.
• Fluency in tariff structures, rate design, and utility cost modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, and municipal utilities.
• Lead large-load service applications and interconnection processes.
• Negotiate and manage electric service agreements and related utility agreements.
• Perform tariff and rate analysis; model power cost scenarios and rate structures.
