Job summary

ChargeScape is seeking a Head of Utilities to lead the launch, growth, and ongoing success of our managed EV charging programs across North America. This player‑coach role will manage a small team of account managers in Austin and partner across product, engineering, and OEM operations to deliver against client objectives.

You will drive program strategy, contracting, and cross‑functional execution while ensuring programs meet growth targets and performance KPIs.

Qualifications

5+ years of utility program management experience, preferably including managed charging or related demand-side programs.
Proven track record leading and growing a team in a startup or fast‑growth setting.
Strong relationships with clients and partner organizations and a history of delivering strategic outcomes.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate and work in‑person 3–4 days per week.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of account managers supporting utility EV charging programs.
Scope and finalize utility program contracts and operationalize them after signature.
Coordinate launches with product, engineering, and OEM teams for rapid deployment.
Set and drive growth metrics and KPIs for utility programs and report progress.
Represent ChargeScape at industry events and client meetings.
Own the Utility Solutions product area and shape roadmap with cross‑functional partners.
