Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Utility EIT/Coordinator to assist utility coordination for civil projects, research utility records, and coordinate SUE investigations.

The role supports design and production of utility plans and client deliverables, with emphasis on collaboration with project teams and utility owners. The candidate should have an engineering degree, EIT status or progress toward it, and familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• EIT certification or progress toward it.
• Two years of related experience in Transportation/Roadway/Utility.
• Proficiency with civil design software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate utility owners and project teams to mitigate utility risk.
• Perform utility records research and prepare contact lists.
• Assist with Subsurface Utility Engineering investigations.
• Prepare utility-related client deliverables and exhibits.
• Support QA/QC of plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Assist with design of utilities to support civil improvements.
• Coordinate field coordination with construction management.
