Job summary

IAPMO Group in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an experienced Construction Scheduler to support utility infrastructure projects. You will develop, maintain, and analyze detailed schedules, coordinating with project managers, field teams, and contractors to ensure milestones are met.

Strong knowledge of utility construction scheduling, critical path analysis, and Primavera P6 is required. You will identify risks, prepare look-ahead schedules, and communicate schedule status to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Construction Scheduler/Project Controls within utility construction.
• Scheduling complex utility projects including electric, gas, or pipeline work.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, critical path, and schedule management.
• Experience with field teams and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 required; other tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules for utility projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, engineers, and contractors to gather schedule data.
• Establish baselines and monitor progress against milestones.
• Identify risks, delays, and impacts to project completion.
• Analyze critical path, schedule float, and dependencies.
• Provide forecasts and communicate impacts to leadership.
• Lead schedule reviews and progress meetings.
• Create look-ahead schedules and track changes.
• Maintain schedule documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
