Job summary

S&B USA Construction in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an entry-level Scheduler I to support planning, development, and maintenance of CPM schedules for heavy civil projects. Under supervision, you will apply Primavera P6 to build bid and baseline schedules, keep project schedules current, and generate schedule reports used by project teams and owners.

This role offers structured training, a clear career path to Project Scheduler, and exposure to regional projects across the Mid-Atlantic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction or scheduling support.
• Field knowledge of heavy civil construction and sequencing in the field.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and prepare a summary of schedule-related requirements and constraints.
• Develop KMZ site models and work-zone graphics to support discussions.
• Prepare summary schedules, schedule exhibits, and materials for proposals.
• Assist in developing detailed CPM bid schedules in P6, including WBS, activity coding, calendars, logic, and durations.
• Support the estimating team with quantity-to-duration calculations and production-rate checks.
• Participate in project kickoff and schedule development meetings.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to translate execution plans into a baseline schedule.
• Assist in schedule updates, look‑aheads, and lookahead reporting.
• Prepare schedule reports, Gantt layouts, and exhibits for Reviews and owner submittals.
