Job summary

Essential Utilities, serving Western Pennsylvania, is seeking a Project Scheduler to support master construction schedules for pipeline projects in the Pittsburgh area. You will monitor progress, integrate plans, and report weekly status.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction/engineering or related field, proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Travel to project sites around Pittsburgh may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, GIS or related field.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft Office suite programs.
• Multi-tasking, ability to prioritize, organize and schedule work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining schedules and integrated master schedules.
• Integrate multiple project plans to a summary program portfolio plan.
• Identify resource and schedule conflicts and constraints among multiple projects and inform stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress for assigned projects and provide weekly status updates and reports.
• Identify schedule variances and develop mitigation strategies with the Project Management team.
