Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead planning for complex utility projects across the Western United States. You will develop Level 3/4 CPM schedules, maintain baselines, and coordinate with project teams and owners to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires deep hands-on scheduling experience in utility construction, strong Primavera P6 skills, and the ability to model risks and recovery options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of scheduling experience in electrical utility construction, heavy civil, or power delivery infrastructure.
• Experience scheduling transmission line, substation, or distribution construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 EPPM; ability to build baselines and generate reports.
• Knowledge of critical path methodology, resource loading, and earned value fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for schedule data manipulation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3 and Level 4 CPM schedules for transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable energy projects using Primavera P6.
• Create and maintain project schedules from pre-construction through closeout, incorporating procurement, permitting, ROW, mobilization, and outage requirements.
• Establish and maintain the schedule baseline with project management and owners; document scope, logic, and constraints.
• Perform schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, and timelines based on field progress and foreman input.
• Conduct time impact analyses (TIAs) for owner-directed changes and other schedule-affecting events.
• Support delay claims and develop fragnet logic; maintain as-built records for closeout and dispute resolution.
• Integrate schedule data with cost control systems for EVM reporting and collaborate with estimating on bid phase assumptions.
• Provide schedule narratives for owner submittals and participate in owner meetings.
