Job summary

Town of Flower Mound seeks a part-time Clerk to manage revenue collections for water and other fees. You will process payments, balance cash, and assist customers with account inquiries, deposits, and new accounts. Strong data entry and office skills are essential.

The role requires 1+ year of cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Texas driver’s license. Bilingual abilities are a plus and you will work weekdays 12:00–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must work Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• A valid Texas Driver's License is required and driving record must be in compliance with Town policy.
• At least one year of customer service and cashier experience is required.
• Data entry and general office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and account for water and other revenue collections.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card receipts, and secure transactions.
• Assist customers with deposits, accounts, and inquiries; open new accounts.
• Clerical tasks: typing, filing, data entry, receptionist duties.
• Follow safety policies and inform supervisor of activities.
• Support other departments as needed.
