Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; six months of customer service or utility billing experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Process utility service bills and review charges; prepare reports and mail bills.
• Set up new accounts and update existing accounts; provide service information.
• Serve as primary contact for service questions; resolve billing issues and inquiries.
• Monitor past due accounts and assist in notices and cut-offs.
• Handle payments via in-person, phone, or online; record transactions and balance cash.
• Maintain organized files and records; assist in scheduling and coordinating work orders.
