Job summary

AEP Service Corporation in Texas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead one or more intermediate to complex projects within a matrix team environment. You will direct planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring safe, economical, and customer-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading project plans, budgets, and stakeholder communications, mentoring staff, and coordinating with internal and external customers, vendors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects or programs in a matrix environment.
• Proficiency with project management principles and methods (Waterfall, Agile).
• PMP certification is preferred but not required; candidate must pursue within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise project and outage activities.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead planning meetings and provide detailed stakeholder presentations.
• Mentor project managers and support staff; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage procurement, contracts, vendor performance and closeout analyses.
