Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support and improve all facility maintenance efforts at our Clayton, NC site. The role includes preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and new equipment installation, with involvement in plant shutdowns and ongoing training for junior members.

Candidates should have an associate's degree or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, and experience with SAP/CMMS.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; 4+ years in mechanical/electrical/control systems preferred
• High school diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience also considered
• Ability to lead and guide technicians in daily tasks and activities preferred
• Experience with automated records systems such as SAP/CMMS preferred
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documents

Responsibilities

• Support and improve facility maintenance efforts including preventive/predictive maintenance
• Participate in plant Shutdown activities for Facilities & Utility equipment
• Coach and participate in problem solving (A3/3C)
• Support training for junior team members
• Maintain documentation in SAP and shift turnover reports
• Lead SPS root cause analysis to resolve equipment issues
• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and data sheets
• Assist in installation, qualification and training for site utilities systems
