Job summary
Novo Nordisk facilities in Clayton, NC are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support and improve all facility maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective actions. You will work with electrical, HVAC, and process equipment, participate in SPS root-cause analysis, and help train junior team members in a fast-paced pharma environment.
Qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent, 4+ years in mechanical/electrical/control systems, and SAP/CMMS
Qualifications
- Associate's degree is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum four years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems.
- Experience with SAP/CMMS preferred; reading schematics and technical documents essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant-wide systems, including refrigeration.
- Lead and participate in problem solving using SPS tools for root cause analysis.
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and training of site utilities.
- Maintain documentation and shift turnover reports; ensure safety and compliance.
- Mentor junior technicians and assist in training activities.
- Coordinate with process owners to improve equipment reliability.
