Job summary
Novo Nordisk's Clayton, NC facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment installation, and regular plant shutdown activities. You will mentor junior staff and help drive reliability improvements across process and utility systems.
The role requires 4+ years in mechanical, electrical, or controls work, with strong problem-solving and documentation in SAP/CMMS.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems.
- High School Diploma/GED with six (6) years of related experience considered.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve facility maintenance, preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs and new equipment installation.
- Participate in plant shutdown activities for facilities and utility equipment.
- Lead and coach technicians in specialized areas; train junior team members.
- Document maintenance activities in SAP/CMMS and communicate in shift turnover reports.
- Drive continuous improvement using cLEAN concepts.
