Job summary
Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs, and new equipment installation across site utilities and process areas.
You will train junior technicians, participate in plant shutdowns, and drive continuous improvements. Requirements: 4+ years in mechanical/electrical/control systems and an associate degree or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required; 4+ years experience in mechanical, electrical and/or control systems.
- HS diploma with 6+ years experience considered.
- Ability to lead and guide fellow technicians.
- Experience with SAP/CMMS preferred.
- Proficiency reading schematics and technical documents.
- Computer literacy required.
- Experience planning and organizing work per daily plan.
- Systematic problem solving with data-driven troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain plantwide refrigeration systems and utilities.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned processes.
- Lead training for junior technicians.
- Document maintenance in SAP and shift turnover reports.
- Drive continuous improvements using lean concepts.
