Job summary

Novo Nordisk maintains and repairs manufacturing systems and equipment at our Clayton, NC API facility, ensuring reliability and uptime for injectable and oral products. The role supports safety, environmental, and equipment performance across processes, with opportunities to contribute to maintenance plans and SPS-driven problem solving.

Candidates should have an Associate's degree and 1-5 years of related experience, with SAP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and comprehensive training in mechanical, electrical & control systems.
• 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of process areas; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures and spare parts lists.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned process.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specs and drawings.
• Work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability.
• Train technicians and share knowledge across the team.
