Job summary

Novo Nordisk is hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Clayton, NC. You will identify issues, support reliability improvements, and assist in operating assigned processing equipment and systems to minimize downtime.

You’ll perform corrective and preventive maintenance, monitor production data, and participate in safety and environmental compliance. This role reports to the Manager and forms part of a global manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field
• High School diploma with minimum of two (2) years of equipment maintenance experience
• Knowledgeable in compressed air, electro-mechanical controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and/or robotics preferred
• Experience with SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams & other technical documents preferred
• Support planning and execution of process maintenance activities to ensure performance

Responsibilities

• Actively improve performance & reliability of process equipment
• Restore function to equipment in a technically correct manner
• Participate in and support Event Response
• Perform corrective & preventative maintenance on assigned process
• Operate, monitor, control equipment, systems & processes
• Support reliability improvement projects
• Assist in all aspects of process operations
• Record & review production data in Batch Production Records and forms
• Follow safety & environmental requirements
• Other duties as assigned
