Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC's Naheola Mill in Pennington, Alabama is seeking a Utilities Business Unit Leader to guide a 60+ person organization and accelerate reliability, operational excellence, and team capability across Pulp, Power, and Recovery assets.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, AMWP implementation, and disciplined operations to improve safety, yield, cost and capital projects while preparing for broader enterprise leadership opportunities within Koch.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a dynamic team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience advancing team capabilities through both strategic leadership and tactical execution.
• Experience supporting operations within utilities, power generation, recovery, pulp, paper, chemical processing, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing a financial plan including both operational and maintenance expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance all eight elements of Operations Excellence (Compliance, Health & Safety, Reliability, Production, Yield, Cost, Quality, and Capital Projects) within the Utilities organization.
• Lead organizational change as the department continues advancing its implementation of Georgia-Pacific's Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP), utilizing a strong understanding of equipment criticality, planning and scheduling best practices, and economic decision making.
• Build the capability of your team to help them reach their full potential applying Principle Based Management & our Guiding Principles.
• Develop and execute strategies that close performance gaps and improve results across safety, reliability, production, cost, and people capabilities.
• Apply Georgia Pacific’s Disciplined Operations framework to connect all levels of the team to how they deliver results & to ensure we consistently do the right thing, for the right reasons and in the right way.
