Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Toledo Containerboard Mill seeks a Power and Utilities Area Operating Superintendent to lead the Power & Recovery Operations Team, applying PBM to create long-term value through safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations.

The incumbent will guide the team, develop capability, and ensure EH&S, quality, reliability, production, and cost objectives are met, while coaching staff and directing outages and asset strategies for improved equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pulp and paper operations or equivalent biomass/power generation.
• Experience leading salary and hourly direct reports.
• Experience applying PBM or principled leadership to develop people and improve results.
• Experience building clear roles, responsibilities, expectations, and decision rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead PBM-based operations excellence to realize long-term value.
• Translate vision into clear priorities, measures, and expectations.
• Foster a culture grounded in integrity, stewardship, humility, respect and accountability.
• Ensure the mill meets objectives in EHS, quality, reliability, production and costs.
• Direct asset strategies to drive continuous improvement and reliability.
