Job summary
Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Prepared Foods Division in Missouri. The role oversees utilities and building/grounds management, and provides frontline supervision of mechanics and operators to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and related systems.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of refrigeration theory, and SAP-PM/CMMS familiarity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
- 3+ years in industrial maintenance, boiler/refrigeration, or related technical field.
- Knowledge of refrigeration theory required; food processing/packaging experience preferred.
- Proficient with Windows-based applications; SAP-PM familiarity and documentation skills expected.
- Strong communication and supervisory abilities essential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee utilities maintenance and building/grounds management.
- Supervise hourly maintenance team supporting boilers, refrigeration, and PSM activities.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and priorities to meet facility needs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement of utility systems.
