Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to monitor, repair and maintain refrigeration and utility systems in our production environment. The role requires hands-on problem solving, documentation in CMMS/SAP, and strict adherence to safety, GMP and SQF standards.

Applicants should be able to work all shifts, perform outdoor duties in varying weather, and participate in rotating assignments. Benefits start day one and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete all utilities maintenance.
• Perform all necessary documentation of activities (CMMS/SAP).
• Install equipment on all utility systems.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Keep all work areas clean.
• Comply with safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management.
