Tyson Foods in Forest, Mississippi is hiring a Manager Maintenance I on the 2nd shift. You will supervise maintenance of production equipment, buildings and utilities including ammonia compressors, wastewater systems. You will plan improvements, train staff, and ensure safe operations.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, 6+ years maintenance experience, strong supervisory and communication skills, and travel 1-5 domestic trips per year.

• 6+ years maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of production equipment, buildings, and utilities including ammonia compressors and wastewater systems.
• Plan and implement plant improvements and expansions.
• Ensure maintenance staff are trained on current equipment and safety programs.
• Monitor plant equipment to minimize downtime and solve problems quickly.
• Maintain SAP PM for work orders and parts inventory.
• Manage maintenance budget and safety/regulatory compliance.
