Job summary

Smithfield Foods seeks an Engineering Leader to oversee facility infrastructure across US locations. You’ll manage Electrical, Refrigeration, Steam, and other utilities, lead project design, mentor engineers, and drive Excellence in Engineering while delivering safe, reliable operations.

This remote role requires travel to facilities (about 50% time) within a 60-mile radius of assigned sites and may include relocation. Competitive pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration and Electrical Power Distribution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support & Optimization of Facility Utilities Systems; develop maintenance plans and risk analyses.
• Project Development & Engineering Design with external resources; plan and budget engineering projects.
