Benesch is seeking an experienced Roadway Project Engineer to join our expanding Utah team. You will be involved in planning, engineering design, and construction of transportation projects for public agencies.

The role includes preparing and reviewing plans, technical specs, contract documents, and estimates, while mentoring staff on projects. Ideal candidates will hold a BS in Civil Engineering and have familiarity with UDOT/Municipal projects, MicroStation, ORD, and complex modeling.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Develop detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from preliminary to final design.
• Collaborate with team members, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs and project requirements.
• Coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items across projects.
• Support studies and alternative analyses to meet client goals.
• Manage and maintain project documentation and assist Project Managers on larger projects.
• Contribute to proposal development.
