Job summary

Benesch invites an experienced Roadway Project Engineer to join our transportation practice in Utah. You will lead design efforts for urban and rural roadways, collaborating with team members, communities, and clients to define data needs, requirements, and deliverables.

You will prepare plans, specs, estimates, and project documentation for public agency projects. The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license in Utah or ability to obtain, and proficiency with MicroStation and ORD.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from planning to final design.
• Collaborate with team, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs and requirements.
• Compile and coordinate plans, specs, cost estimates, and pay items.
• Support studies and alternate analyses to meet compliance and client goals.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure complete, high‑quality deliverables.
• Contribute to proposal development.
• Manage small projects and assist Project Managers on larger efforts.
• Maintain and organize project documentation.
