Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Roadway Project Engineer in Utah with a focus on planning, engineering design, and construction of transportation infrastructure for public agencies. You will prepare and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and project documents, mentoring staff and contributing to large project delivery.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, strong communication, and experience with ORD/Microstation. Utah PE license is preferred; flexibility in Utah locations is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from preliminary to final design
• Collaborating with team members, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs, project requirements, and outputs to develop applications
• Compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items
• Supporting studies and alternative analysis to determine best solutions to meet compliance and client goals
• Working with various disciplines and reviewers to ensure complete, accurate, and high-quality deliverables
• Contribute to proposal development
• Managing small projects, project tasks, and assisting Project Managers in overall large project delivery
• Manage and maintain project documentation
