Alfred Benesch & Company in Utah is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to lead design on vehicular and pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, and related structures.

You will manage design calculations, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with the Project Manager through planning, design, construction, and in-service phases.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 5–10+ years of bridge design, and Utah PE eligibility; MS is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering; MS preferred.
• PE license in Utah or ability to obtain through reciprocity.

Responsabilités

• Lead bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with growth of the staff.
• Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects.
• Coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates and pay items per DOT standards.
• Coordinate tasks with the Project Manager.
• Lead structural designers on bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
