Job summary

Lob is seeking a Senior Manager, USPS Programs to lead and optimize direct mail operations and manage the USPS relationship. You will work with Product, Sales, and Logistics to ensure compliant, cost-efficient mail production and delivery while navigating regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in a USPS-related role within direct mail/logistics/manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree preferred, equivalent experience considered
• Deep understanding of USPS rules, mail classification, and postal optimization strategies such as presort, commingling, and drop shipping

Responsibilities

• Act as USPS liaison and SME to internal teams and USPS representatives
• Monitor USPS regulations, requirements, and rate structures to ensure compliant, cost-efficient mailings
• Develop reports on mailing performance, cost efficiency, and compliance for leadership
• Lead end-to-end USPS promotions with Product and Sales to maximize postage savings and customer participation
• Collaborate with logistics stakeholders and USPS/industry bodies to influence policy and stay informed on changes
• Translate postal industry changes into actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and offerings
• Educate internal teams on USPS policies and innovations to maintain compliance
