Job summary

Lob seeks a Senior Manager, USPS Programs to lead direct mail operations and optimize USPS interactions. You will collaborate with logistics, operations, sales and product teams to ensure compliant, cost-efficient mail production and delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in a USPS-related role within direct mail, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Deep understanding of USPS rules, mail classification, and postal optimization strategies.
• Experience with USPS software and postal platforms (PostalOne!, Mail.dat).

Responsibilities

• Act as USPS liaison and SME to internal teams and USPS.
• Monitor USPS regulations, rate structures, and optimize for cost savings.
• Develop reports on mailing performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
• Lead end-to-end USPS promotions with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate rates and manage vendor relationships to improve workflows.
• Represent the company in MTAC and other USPS organizations.
• Translate industry changes into actionable operational improvements.
• Educate teams on USPS policies and innovations.
