Lob is seeking a Senior Manager for USPS Programs to lead and optimize direct mail operations, working closely with logistics, operations, sales, and product teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective mail production and delivery.

The role focuses on navigating USPS regulations, promoting cost savings, and leveraging postal strategies to drive customer success and company growth. This is a remote opportunity with national scope.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in a USPS-related role within direct mail, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of USPS rules, mail classification, and postal optimization strategies such as presort, commingling, and drop shipping. Familiarity with postal software (PostalOne!, Mail.dat) and relevant logistics platforms.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with ability to troubleshoot complex mailing challenges.
• Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Industry Involvement: Active with MTAC, NAPM, PostCom is a plus.

Responsibilities

• USPS compliance and strategy: act as liaison and SME with USPS.
• Data analysis to monitor mail efficiency, delivery performance, and trends.
• Reporting: develop reports on mailing performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
• Lead end-to-end USPS promotions and cross-functional coordination with Product and Sales.
• Vendor relationships: negotiate rates and improve mailing workflows.
