ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): • Must be courteous and professional at all times • Must be able to react quickly to seating issues and customer concerns calmly • Must be punctual and well-groomed at each performance • Must be flexible for scheduling purposes including- -Mainstage – 12p.m.-4:30p.m.; 7p.m. to 11:30p.m. weekdays 3:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Saturday; 12p.m.-8:30 p.m. -Children’s Theatre – 9 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Sunday • General housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting and picking up trash. Direct and accompany patrons who must leave their seats during a performance, always keeping safety of patron and actors in mind. • Take tickets, scan and check for accurate date and time then direct patrons to the proper seating location or on to the next usher for seating assistance • Always treats guests, actors and other staff members with respect and courtesy • Must become familiar with areas in which costume changes are taking place as well as timing • For set pieces going on and off the stage and comfortable with holding customers from these areas in a safe and courteous manner.
