Job summary

Northstrat is seeking an experienced User Engagement Engineer with a systems engineering background to join an SDA software development program spanning multiple locations. You will support operators and system integration efforts, documenting incidents, tracking status, and informing users about development plans and timelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI with CI poly and be willing to be read into SAPs.
• 5+ years of system engineering for space systems or related experience.
• Experience in space operations and SDA/space control.

Responsibilities

• Document incidents for operations.
• Track status of current incidents and provide status to users.
• Inform users of development planning, status and deliverables.
• Manage user expectations on system capabilities and delivery timelines.
• Elucidate system functionality.
• Develop system tradecraft and user-guides to support real-world operations.
• Support operation's transition from a legacy system to modern architecture.
• Provide informal training to users.
• Connect users to the customer for approvals.
• Connect the customer to site personnel to support software delivery and system integration.
• Facilitate on-site discussions/meetings with system users and stakeholders.
