Job summary

Northstrat is seeking an experienced User Engagement Engineer with a systems engineering background to join an established space domain awareness (SDA) software development program spanning multiple locations. The role will involve documenting incidents, tracking status, informing users of plans and deliverables, and managing expectations for system capabilities and delivery timelines.

It also includes elucidating functionality, developing user guides, and training users.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with CI poly and willingness to be read into SAPs.
• Minimum five years of systems engineering experience for space systems or related field.
• Experience in space operations, SDA/space control, and indications and warnings.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of systems engineering experience for space systems or related field
• Experience in space operations, space domain awareness (SDA)/space control, and indications and warnings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience liaising between multiple organizations
• Experience briefing and interfacing with government leadership
• Experience facilitating working groups
• Excellent communication skills, especially with remote teams
• Self‑starter and self‑advocate; able to operate in a small site presence
