Jackson Group Peterbilt in Boise, ID is seeking an experienced, customer-focused sales professional to sell our inventory of used semi-trucks and trailers to owner-operators, fleet buyers, contractors, and logistics companies. This hunter role emphasizes prospecting, lead generation, outbound calls, and closing deals.

You will develop a pipeline, present product solutions, and ensure delivery and paperwork are seamless.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven sales experience required.
• Proven experience with prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and new business development.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, follow-up, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a sales pipeline with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable making frequent outbound calls and asking for the business.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, CRM software, and inventory management.
• Have or be able to obtain a CDL.
• Experience selling capital goods is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Understand truck industry terminology and stay current on inventory, features, and market conditions.
• Actively prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outbound sales.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of owner-operators, fleets, contractors, and commercial customers.
• Provide thorough product information and demonstrations to prospects.
• Identify customer needs and recommend trucks based on application, specs, and budget.
• Negotiate effectively and close sales while protecting profitability.
• Coordinate with service and body shop for reconditioning and delivery readiness.
• Advertise equipment across platforms and prepare vehicles for delivery.
