Job summary

Jackson Group Peterbilt is seeking a motivated sales professional to sell used semi-trucks to owner-operators, fleets, and logistics companies. You will generate leads, build long‑term relationships, and close sales while coordinating with finance, service, and delivery teams.

You will demonstrate trucks, present paperwork, and ensure customers understand features, warranties, and post‑delivery support. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, CRM software, and inventory management.
• Have or be able to get a CDL.

Responsibilities

• Understand truck terminology and stay updated on inventory and features.
• Provide product information and demonstrations to prospects.
• Navigate laws governing retail vehicle sales.
• Prepare paperwork and finalize deals with finance/insurance.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and ensure features work.
• Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel and maintenance options.
• Follow up on post-delivery items and title work.
• Coordinate with service and body shop to recondition vehicles on schedule.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in inspections.
• Maintain a professional appearance and complete sales orders per dealership policies.
