Job summary

Minimum 1+ year experience in automotive purchasing and appraisals; valid US work authorization and clean driving record are required. This is a full-time role with performance-based earnings and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in automotive purchasing, acquisitions, and appraisals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Responsibilities

• Call, follow up and schedule appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles.
• Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation.
• Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle.
• Approach, greet, and engage with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles.
• Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures of the vehicles, and inputting vehicle data into Sonic's automated inventory management system.
• Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller.
• Introduce guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle.
