Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and sales techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, and product information.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and ensure compliance with safety and storage policies. Assist members with purchases and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote our brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and inspiring others. Support training and foster a respectful, team-oriented environment.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to complete required trainings and assessments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
