Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and seasonal considerations. Be proficient with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and enhance engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, and training. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage inventory, process transactions, maintain safety and compliance standards, and assist members with purchasing decisions. Report safety hazards and issues promptly.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service, inspiring team members, and supporting a respectful, team-oriented environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete work assignments efficiently, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums depending on circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed local minimum wages.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver’s license, ability to complete required training, and be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
