Job description

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

• Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile items.
• Manage the Sales Floor in Tire and Battery Center according to company policies, handling claims, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise, following company procedures and completing necessary documentation.
• Ensure safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Assist members with automotive services, including tire installation, repairs, and battery testing, following company guidelines and operating computer equipment for processing services.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with additional premiums possible based on specific circumstances.

• Experience in auto service industry or retail.
