Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. Collaborating with other associates, you will ensure the club meets the members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology and systems for immediate business decisions regarding services, safety alerts, and product information.
- Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs. Track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance standards. Report safety hazards and complete necessary documentation.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products, develop and inspire others, and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment. Understand and help overcome roadblocks, and assist in training team members.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create an inclusive workplace, and foster a culture of belonging. Build strong relationships, communicate positively, and recognize contributions.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
