Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Be proficient with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and enhance engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training. Adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies needs, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory and safety standards, report issues, complete documentation, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment. Understand and help overcome roadblocks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, using the Open Door Policy and executing business practices accordingly.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
