Position Summary...
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement using handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain safety and compliance; report issues; assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
