Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use Point of Sale systems and selling techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and product information.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance. Assist members with purchasing and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by delivering high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive team environment. Comply with company policies and support continuous improvement.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create an inclusive workplace, build trust, and motivate others. Develop and mentor team members, recognize contributions, and create opportunities for growth.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must complete all required training and assessments within designated time
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in auto service industry or retail
