Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new products, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, special orders, operating cash registers, processing transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety and compliance standards. Report safety hazards, product issues, and complete documentation.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive team environment. Comply with company policies and implement related action plans.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, foster a culture of belonging, and create opportunities for all associates to thrive. Build strong relationships, communicate positively, and motivate others.

The hourly wage is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must complete all required training and assessments if hired
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
