Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

• Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company's products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
• Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, handle hazardous materials properly, and report unsafe conditions.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures.
• Assist with vehicle services, including driving vehicles into and out of bays, inspecting for damage, and performing tire and battery services following company guidelines.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Willingness to complete required training and assessments within designated timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
