Job Title: Medical Lab Technician II
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Technician II to support our client's medical facility in Indianapolis, IN, USA 46214. This is a 10-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a great chance to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

- Duration: 10+ months
- Pay rate: $25-$29 per hour
- Schedule: 8 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing based on established criteria.
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental SOPs.
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
- Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Identify and replenish testing supplies as needed.
- Assist with specimen processing when required.
- Maintain a safe work environment and use appropriate PPE.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
- Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
- State Medical Technician license may be required.
- ASCP or AMT certification is preferred or required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
- High attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a standardized color vision test.
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, OR
- BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with at least 1 year of relevant training or experience, OR
- 90 semester hours including Biology, Chemistry, and Math, plus completion of an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or equivalent experience.
