ESFM Floor Technician Job Description

We have an opening for a full-time Floor Technician position located in Chesterfield at 700 Chesterfield Parkway West, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour.

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining, restoring, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
2. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
3. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
4. Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
5. Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all types of floors.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

1. Experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
2. Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
3. Ability to follow safety procedures.
4. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
