Position Summary...

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory standards; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to and promote new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure high-quality standards for meat products, minimize waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, model high-quality service, execute tasks at the highest standards, engage with colleagues to identify and overcome roadblocks, and participate in training.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these principles in daily operations.
• Complete work assignments by utilizing policies, data, and resources; collaborating with team members and partners; prioritizing tasks; communicating progress; identifying improvement opportunities; and adapting to changes and feedback.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding local minimum wages. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, location, season, or work performed.

Minimum Qualifications...

6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must complete all required training and assessments successfully. Must be 18 or older.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in Meat Processing Area is preferred.
