Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly tasks as required.
  • Use computers to close out and reprint manufacturing orders.
  • Read manufacturing orders to determine belt specifications.
  • Calculate specification cards accurately.
  • Conduct wire bend tests correctly at designated times for each machine.
  • Read and use calipers and tape measures for measurements.
  • Set up machines, including controller length, payoff speed, cutter, benders, dump tray, and Z-center according to belt number.
  • Operate and monitor machines to detect workpiece defects or malfunctions.
  • Measure wire dimensions to ensure machine accuracy.
  • Monitor quality by checking twists, bow, curve, edges, length, spans, belt tension, sponge, pitch, and parallelism.
  • Perform minor maintenance such as lubricating moving parts, cleaning, or replacing broken components.
  • Move finished stacks to designated areas.

All responsibilities should be performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
